Journeyman Workshop on Song Writing and Guitar - November 2009 Sheffield

The Michael Chapman guitar workshop was a wonderful event. Mister Chapman is not only a great performer, he's also a natural born teacher. He managed to draw us into his magical world of poetry and melancholic sound palettes for about six hours.

Michael never gave up answering our questions and helping us figure our how to play some of his older songs.

Michael varied giving us information about how to play the guitar with giving 'mini concerts', in which he sang and played purely acoustic for our ears only.

One moment he told us to try a sequence of chords to play together.

After some trying we got into a mutual flow and twelve guitars were filling the room with an ongoing acoustic wave.
